One of our most important operating principles is to only choose premium raw textiles for our products.  Whilst alpaca is celebrated globally as one of the most luxurious materials, not all fibres are created equal.  Softness, lightweight breathability, durability and resistance to pilling will vary greatly between genuine superfine baby alpaca wool and other fibres.
