The quality of our yarn starts with a rigorous selection of the finest raw fleece from the alpaca herds grazing at altitudes above 4,000 metres.   Here the intense climate and extreme temperature shifts between night and day cause the animals to grow a dense protective undercoat.   The premium baby alpaca fibres selected for our collections reach an extraordinary grade of fineness, averaging under 21.5 microns, to guarantee a silky-smooth feel that does not irritate your skin.
